In short, everything changed. The protagonist’s personality changed (lost authenticity) because he was like a hen – pecked boyfriend but had eyes laid on someone else.
Still his girlfriend was sincere enough to have labeled him ‘favourite’ even though he turned out to be a ‘lie’.
And by the way, I wasn’t talking about you, its fictional.
