“Don’t you want to get some sleep? It is 2 AM.” , I said.

“Nah. I want to spend a sleepless night. I am too absorbed in the moment.” , he said.

“But you have a flight tomorrow. Don’t blame me if you miss it!”

“Haha. Have I ever blamed you for anything?”

“Well, no.”

“You know I am leaving for Italy tomorrow. What do you want me to get you?”

“Honestly, your offer itself is more than enough for me. You don’t have to get me anything. Thank you.”

“Oh come on, I have to get you something. Tell me what you want.”

“Fine then, get me something that reminds you of me. Hard right? Haha.”

“Of course yes. Nothing I can find is perfect for you.”

“Wait, I was just kidding. Is it really that hard for you to find something that’s relatable to me? “

“Yes it is impossible. Not everything and everyone has the perfect combination of beauty with brains.”

“Okay. What exactly are you trying to say?”

“l just want you to know that you have amazed me in every way. Though we live thousands of miles apart, my heart smiles everytime it thinks of you.”

“Why are you saying this all of a sudden? Are you out if senses or something?”

“I’m in my perfect senses and I ain’t goofing around. I really mean every word that I say, and you know this very well.”

“Yes I do know this, but why is it so out of the box? I’m kinda perplexed.”

“I just wanted to tell you this real quick before I leave for Italy. I might not be able to get back to you for the next two months.”

“Oh. I totally understand. You will be caught up with the huge amount of workload.”

“Yes, that’s what I meant. So…..?”

“So….? So what?”

“I mean, there’s no pressure for you to answer. But don’t you have to say anything on this?”

“You remember the trip we met at last October, right?”

“Yes I do.”

“You remember that we met so many people there, right?”

“Yes I do.”

“You remember that we didn’t talk during the whole trip, right?”

“Yes I do?”

“You remember we didn’t exchange numbers till the very last day, right?”

“Yes I do. But why are you asking me this?”

“Then why do you think I reached out to you after the trip, from nowhere out of the blue?”

“I don’t know. Maybe you just casually wanted to keep in touch. “

“That’s okay. But the truth is that I had my eyes laid on you from the first day of the trip and I just knew that I had to get back to you somehow. Else I would regret it a lot.”

“And when you reached out to me, I knew it was my chance to grab and I didn’t want to let go.”

“Okay, I anyways am going to have a sleepless night today because of a functions assignment. Sleep tight and good night! “

“Haha. Let me know if I can be of some help, I would love to.”

“No sweat, I’m a maestro.”

“Of course, Ms. Beauty with Brains.”

  20. It looks too much real. A natural talk. But had a fictional touch in narration somewhere obscured. So couldn’t actually come to the conclusion. Anyway loved this a lot in either way.🤩👍💕
